THE TEAM

Break Investigative Group was created after 'Breaking Homicide' premiered on Investigation Discovery and received praise from both experts in the field and viewers who tuned in to watch. The show followed Derrick Levasseur and his partner, Dr. Kris Mohandie, a forensic psychologist, as they traveled the nation meeting with families and friends who had lost a loved one and were looking for answers. Levasseur and Mohandie re-investigated these cases using science, technology, and outside experts to develop their own findings, providing closure for the people affected and answers to the agencies in-charge of the investigation.

After the show aired, Levasseur received thousands of requests from people all over the country who were looking for help. Executives, lawyers, insurance adjusters, private citizens - these individuals wanted to know how they could hire experienced, trustworthy investigators to perform a variety of services within their industries. Because of those inquiries, Levasseur established a team of colleagues that have experience in both security and investigations.

With Levasseur leading the team with his unconventional, but effective approach, and investigators who specialize in the areas of law, surveillance, undercover operations, interviews and interrogations, accident reconstruction, handwriting analysis, forensic psychology, financial crimes, cyber crimes, crime scene processing, fingerprint analysis, blood spatter recognition, use of force, threat assessment, risk-management, and personal or home security, Break is built to handle any case.
